Shockwave was just passing time on the day the long-silent comm sounded:

(thinking) "Megatron?!? Oh pop gas! What do I do now? The place is a mess ever since Alpha Trion and Elita-1 convinced the cleaning staff to follow them.... What do I say? Should I even answer? Of course I should answer! But what to say?"

"Option A) Well, look at what the petrorabbits dug up? And here I thought I'd spent all this time waiting in vain.... slash-sarcasm!"

"No ... he might actually make me deal with Starscream instead ... Primus! I hope that preening self-absorbed Seeker has rusted away by now....

"Option B) Hail, Megatron!"

"Would I really be that much of a microbot-glitch? True, if I kiss his exhaust port he'll probably want to deal with me personally which means I won't have to put up with Starscream...."

"Option C) I'm busy getting buffed and shined by Elita-1 right now. I'll call you back when...."

"Oh, blast! The fragging thing is buzzing again!"

Presses the comm button: "Hail, Megatron!"

(thinking again) "Primus! I am SUCH a microbot-glitch!"

*MegsUltimate_1* "Do you actually KNOW Destron?"

*PeCPTRproto* "I would like to point out that Destron is very much alive and not slag for breath. Also that Alpha Prime is a subject of historical conjecture, there being no proof–"

Somewhere in the next 5000 page-downs of rambling the forumite known as MegsUltimate_1 snapped and the rest is historicity.

Galvatron: "Coronation Shockwave? This is bad comedy!"

Shockwave: "While there are superficial similarities, it would be illogical to assume that this mysterious intruder could actually be Megatron reborn. First, his voice is now being provided by a different actor. Second, he's now surrounded by boot-licks – which would be a severe break from his previous habits. Third, his transform mode doesn't require someone else to fire him...."

Shockwave (slightly amused): "And fourth, he appears to have forgotten that I have access to force field technology and that this version of myself is suspicious enough to actually install it on my dias."

Galvatron (in artillery mode): *glare*

Shockwave: "If it'll make you feel any better you can always shoot Starscream?"

Starscream: "Hey?!?"
